Special Education

We are committed to helping all students succeed, including those who may need additional support. Our campus has a dedicated student support team that works closely with families and staff to assist students who are experiencing academic or behavioral challenges.

We offer Special Education services right here on campus for most students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Our team of professionals work within ARD committees to create personalized programs and services that meet the unique needs of each student. This campus-based approach helps ensure students receive the support they need in a familiar and inclusive environment.

See below for the Special Education programs currently available at our school.

Co-Teaching in Action: Supporting All Learners

In our co-taught classrooms, a general education teacher and a specialized educator work as equal partners to plan, deliver, and evaluate daily instruction. This collaborative approach ensures that students in special education receive tailored accommodations, specialized services, and targeted, small-group support directly within the general education environment. By utilizing diverse instructional models—such as station teaching and team teaching—both educators combine their expertise to increase student engagement, lower the student-to-teacher ratio, and maintain high academic expectations. Ultimately, co-teaching allows special education students to master the core curriculum alongside their peers while receiving the exact individualized support they need to thrive.
