Clear Bag Policy
To help ensure a safe and respectful environment for guests, Garland ISD has put into effect a Clear Bag Policy for all GISD middle and high school athletic events and fine arts performances.

As a Sellers University Athlete, our students represent the best and they are expected to aim to deliver their best. The Shark Athletics Department is compromised of both boys and girls athletics, with each involved in their respective sports and activities. Shark athletes demonstrate their talents on and off the field. Games are held at various locations across the district depending on the sport. Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for students. District employees get in free with their badge.
Boys athletics
GISD offers three sports for boys Football, Basketball and Track & Field. As athletes at Sellers Univeristy, we expect only the best of our students. The example set in the halls, classrooms and community is a reflection of our program.
Respect should be shown to all coaches and any others in authority including teachers. This respect should extend to teammates, fellow students, and to our opponent. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate coach on the coaching staff. All coaches can be reached by email.

Girls athletics
GISD offers three sports for girls: volleyball, basketball and track. At Sellers, our athletes are students first. Academic classes always take precedence over athletics. Athletes must always maintain a passing average in all of their classes. We teach our athletes respect, trust, and integrity. These traits apply not only to the coaches and their teammates, but to teachers and fellow students. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate coach.
