Dr. Jennifer Garcia is proud to serve as Principal of South Garland High School. Throughout her educational career, she has served as a high school English and Reading teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, leading campuses with a focus on instructional excellence, high expectations, and student success. Dr. Garcia is passionate about building meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and the community while fostering a culture where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their fullest potential. She is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences, cultivating student leadership, and ensuring all Titans are prepared for success in college, career, and life. A proud wife, mother, and grandmother, Dr. Garcia values family and is honored to partner with the South Garland community to continue a tradition of excellence for every Titan.

Rhonda Williams proudly serves as an Assistant Principal at South Garland High School. She brings extensive experience in instructional leadership, student support, and campus operations, having served in roles including Instructional Coach, RTI Facilitator, and classroom teacher.

Mrs. Williams is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while fostering a positive and supportive school culture. She is committed to ensuring high levels of academic achievement for all students through data-driven instruction, intentional interventions, and a focus on equity.

She has completed leadership development through Garland ISD’s Future Principals Institute and the Holdsworth Leadership Collaborative. Mrs. Williams believes in leading with integrity, compassion, and a student-centered mindset, working daily to empower students and staff to reach their full potential.

Mr. Sanchez is proud to have his new role as Assistant Principal at South Garland High School. He began his career as an Algebra 1 teacher in Garland ISD before transitioning into an Instructional Coach at Webb Middle School. He then transitioned to Assistant Principal at Webb Middle School, deepening his commitment to campus culture and student success. Guided by the core values of Trust, Growth, and Respect, he believes that strong relationships are the foundation of every thriving school community. He is beyond excited to bring that belief with him as he joins the family at South Garland High School and is proud to now call himself a Titan.

Dr. Diana Montgomery was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She earned a basketball scholarship to Jarvis Christian College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics. During her collegiate career, she received numerous honors, including NAIA Newcomer of the Year and Academic Student of the Year. Dr. Montgomery began her career at Lakeview Centennial High School and has served Garland ISD in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including Technology Specialist, Title I Program Specialist, Student Success Coordinator, and Assistant Principal.

With more than two decades of experience in education, Dr. Montgomery is passionate about creating opportunities for every student to succeed. She believes her professional journey has prepared her to lead with purpose and that serving students is more than a career, it is her calling. Guided by faith, love, and kindness, Dr. Montgomery is committed to fostering a supportive learning environment where every student is empowered to achieve their full potential.

Walter Jimenez is proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at South Garland High School. Throughout his educational career, he has served as a high school history teacher, provided post-secondary education guidance, and delivered inclusion support within a CTE setting. Mr. Jimenez is passionate about analyzing data to uncover meaningful insights that drive growth for both individual students and the entire student body. He strongly believes in fostering authentic collaboration among students, families, staff, and the community to support every learner's journey. A proud father, Mr. Jimenez is excited to join the South Garland family and looks forward to partnering with staff to continue growing the Titan Culture.
