Graduation for the SGHS class of 2026 will be:

• Thursday, May 21st
• 7:00 p.m.
• Curtis Culwell Center

Graduation will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center, located at 4999 Naaman Forest Blvd., Garland, Texas. 

All graduates must arrive at South Garland High School no later than 5:00 p.m. to ensure an on-time departure for the ceremony. Students will be transported to the venue via GISD bus.

Please note that the Curtis Culwell Center requires a ticket for all guests. Each senior will receive 10 graduation tickets during Senior Checkout on May 19, 2026. In order to receive tickets, all outstanding fees must be paid. Students must also return any library books and clear all campus obligations prior to checkout.

A cap and gown are required to participate in the graduation ceremony and must be ordered through Jostens at Jostens.com. If your student has not yet placed their order, please ensure it is completed by February 27th to guarantee on-time delivery.
