Art teacher: Blanca Castellanos

I am excited to share my love of art and learning with the students of Shorehaven! We will begin by learning the elements of art and principles of design. We will then learn to incorporate the elements and principles into our art through planning and careful thinking. We will explore artists from around the world, throughout time, and discover how art has impacted our culture and lives.

My goal is to help students think creatively and learn problem-solving skills through art so that they can later incorporate them into their own lives.

Art Night 2023-2024

This year's Art Night will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 pm.

Our theme this year is Jungle Exploration! Throughout the year, we will be exploring the living beauties found in jungles around the world.
