What is PTA?

“P” is for our Parents, grandParents, and the People in our community who support the students at Shorehaven. “T” is for our Teachers and staff who work at Shorehaven. “A” is for Association and All that we can accomplish together for the education and well-being of our Shorehaven Elementary students. Everyone of us has something of value to bring to Shorehaven Elementary that can improve the overall educational experience for all students.

Goals for PTA

How the PTA supports our students

Your support through membership and fundraising helps provide resources, activities, and experiences for our students. Here are some of the ways PTA funds are raised and used:

  • Membership – Every membership directly supports Shorehaven students.
  • Spirit Wear – T-shirts for students and adults (more items coming soon!).
  • Spirit Nights at Local Restaurants – Enjoy a meal out while giving back. Be sure to ask if your restaurant is supporting Shorehaven Elementary and watch for future dates.
  • Yearbook – Capturing memories of the school year for every student.
  • Snack Cart – A fun way for students to enjoy treats while raising funds for our school.
