Class Meetings with Mr. Creel
Mr. Creel, Principal of Sachse High School, and Mr. Young, Assistant Principal, met with all the four classes on Monday, August 9 and Tuesday, August 10. If any student missed the meeting, please take the time to review the Class Meeting information. If you have any questions regarding the content of this presentation, email Mr. Young. It is important our students understand our expectations here at Sachse High School.
Letter Jacket Ordering
TSR Letter Jackets is our vendor for school letter jackets. They only size eligible students on campus. Letter jacket fittings are scheduled 3-4 times a year.
You can qualify for a free letter jacket one of three ways. What comes free is the actual letter jacket with the Sachse "S" on the front pocket with your letter (either Athletics, Fine Arts, or Academics).
- Athletics: Required to play in so many varsity games/meets before you are eligible. Your coach will submit your name to Mrs. Ellis to be sized for a letter jacket once the student is eligible and has met the qualifications based on the Athletics Department. If you have any specific athletic letter jacket eligibility questions, please ask your coach first.
- Fine Arts: Required to be on a varsity level program before you are eligible. Your sponsor/director will submit your name to Mrs. Ellis to be sized for a letter jacket once the student is eligible and has met the qualifications based on the Fine Arts Department. If you have any specific Fine Arts letter jacket eligibility questions, please ask your director first.
- Academics: Required to have to have a 3.5 cumulative GPA your freshmen, sophomore, and junior year. These students also receive an academic patch every year in May once they obtain a cumulative 3.5 for that year. We pull mid year rank in January and juniors order their jackets in February of their junior year.
If students do not qualify one of these ways listed above, then they are welcome to order a letter jacket and pay in full but your jacket will not have the Sachse "S" on the front. That is reserved for students that qualified for the jacket and lettered in one of the three ways listed above. Please contact Lauren Ellis, Student Activities Director, if you have any letter jacket questions or if you want to be added a fitting date.
