FAFSA should be completed as early as possible after October 1 of the senior year to maximize aid.  FAFSA information can be found at on their student aid website. 

Step 1:  Create an FSAID (electronic signature) for both the student and parent

Step 2:  Complete the FAFSA 

SHS counselors host a FAFSA Fun Night each Fall to help families complete the form.

Parents, teachers and school counselors can collaborate with students to help them create a four-year plan, manage the college application process, and make informed decisions regarding career paths.
