Ms. Allen, Mrs. Hernandez and Mrs. Murray are back! They are excited to welcome Ms. Hooper to the kind kindergarten team!

Your child will learn:

Alphabet mastery: name and write all uppercase and lowercase letters.
Letter sounds: connect letters to their specific sounds and sound out simple three-letter words (like cat or dog).
Sight words: read 20 to 30 common high-frequency words (scuh as the, is, and to).
Reading basics: understand print concepts, like reading from left to right and top to bottom.
Writing: write their first and last name correctly, and write one or two simple sentences using phonetic spelling.

Counting: count to 100 by ones and tens.
Number recognition: identify, write, and count objects up to numbers 0 through 20.
Operations: solve simple addition and subtraction problems within 10 using objects or fingers.
Shapes and patterns: identify basic shapes like circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles, and create simple patterns.
