Our Shugart parents, families and friends are some of our greatest school assets, and we need you. Volunteers will need to pass a background check which can be filled out using the links at the bottom of this page. Please allow two weeks for the application to be processed.

More volunteer opportunities may come available as the year progresses, such as field trips and school events. The library will take any help stocking library shelves and volunteers for the Scholastic Book Fair in the Fall and Spring.
Ms. Johnson could use volunteers to help with shelving library books and other needs for the school library. If you are interested, you are welcome to reach out to the librarian, Ms. Johnson.
We love when Shugart parents visit or volunteer in our school. We have parents who volunteer weekly at the Dojo store. Fun fact: This is Mrs. Herman (pre-k teacher)'s Dad! In this picture, these two students spent their Dojo points to shop at the Dojo store. We appreciate any donations to help keep our Dojo store running!

The PTA needs volunteers to help with fundraisers in the afternoons with our monthly Snack attack and holiday fundraisers (turkey trot and holiday shop). If you are interested, please sign up on the Class Dojo event and you are welcome to reach out to the PTA President, Mrs. Tinsley.

To celebrate "Read Across America week", we were excited to celebrate and invited parents and guardians to be part of the fun! They came to share the joy of reading by visiting our campus and reading a book to one of our classes. Some staff members got involved in the fun, too!
These volunteers helped with the weekly Class Dojo store, their child's field trips, PTA fundraisers (snack attack, Dots and Pop, holiday shop), turkey trot, and field day.
