I am honored to serve the students, families, staff, and community of Southgate STEM Elementary and look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place.
I have proudly served Garland ISD for more than 20 years in roles including teacher, Early College High School Coordinator, and campus administrator. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing every student with high-quality learning opportunities in a supportive environment.
My goal is to ensure all Southgate STEM students continue receiving an excellent education and are supported in reaching their full academic, social, and emotional potential.

Hello! I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the students, families, and community of Southgate Elementary. I grew up in Del City, Oklahoma and graduated from Del City High School. I attended Oklahoma State University where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and then attended Lamar University where I received my master's degree in Technology Leadership and Administration.
I have been in the educational field for over 20 years serving as an elementary teacher, interventionist, technology specialist, and an instructional specialist before taking on the administrative role as an assistant principal.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family. I have a very supportive husband, Tim, and one daughter, Olivia. We love to travel, play board games, and try new restaurants!
I highly value parental engagement and believe your participation is vital. I look forward to working with you and your child as we learn and grow together.
