We recently redesigned our school garden! We will have opportunities for families to help us care for our garden and even harvest healthy foods for your family! Look for updates to our program soon!
Invention Convention
Students are work on their invention to enter into our Southgate STEM Invention Convention competition every spring. Students across all grade levels work independently or in small groups to invent helpful solutions to common problems! They are compete for a chance to attend the Texas Invention Convention competition in April.
Trashin' Fashion
Each spring students use recycled materials to create unique fashions that are displayed at our STEM showcase at the end of the school year. The project is designed to engage students in conversations about protecting our natural resources and implementing design skills they learn throughout the year.
Multicultural Night
Southgate STEM families come together to share their culture and heritage each winter. Foods, facts and fun are shared from all over the world!
