Southgate STEM Garden
Watch for upcoming news! We are excited to redesign our school garden this spring and plant crops to harvest this summer! We will have opportunities for families to help us care for our garden this summer and even harvest healthy foods for your family! Picture below shows the intended design for the new learning space by the garden.
Invention Convention
Students are avidly working on their inventions to enter into our Southgate STEM Invention Convention competition the week of March 9th. Students across all grade levels are working independently or in small groups to invent helpful solutions to common problems! They are competing for a chance to attend the Texas Invention Convention competition in April. Pictures coming soon!
Multicultural Night
On February 12th, Southgate STEM families came together to share their culture and heritage. We even had a visit from the South Garland High School World Dancers. Foods, facts and fun were shared from all over the world!
