At Spring Creek, we provide high-quality instruction that meets the needs of every student. Our approach is child-centered, with high expectations that inspire all learners to reach their full potential. We maintain a safe, supportive, and well-disciplined environment where students can grow academically and personally. Our goal is for every child to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in life.
Academics
Dates for curriculum assessments, reading assessments, and state mandated tests can be found on the testing calendar.
Technology
All grade levels have use of our computer lab equipped. Our Pre-K through 2nd-grade students are issued individual iPads and our 3rd through 4th-grade students are issued a chromebook for their use in the classrooms. Each classroom also includes a teacher workstation complete with a laptop, camera and projector.
Academic computer programs
iReady
This program is an adaptive assessment that adjusts the difficulty of questions based on a student's response, identifying specific areas where they need support. This program provides teachers with data and reports to help them understand student strengths and weaknesses and track their progress.
Sirius
Sirius Online is a digital learning platform aligned with Texas state standards (TEKS) that helps students build skills and prepare for STAAR assessments. In classrooms, students log in to complete interactive lessons, practice questions, and assessments that give instant feedback. Teachers use the platform’s reports to track progress and assign activities based on student needs. It’s often used for personalized practice, small-group work, or test readiness.
Beanstack
Beanstack is a reading app that encourages students to read more through challenges and logging their books or minutes. In classrooms, students record what they read, earn digital badges or rewards, and see their progress toward reading goals. Teachers can track participation and celebrate milestones to help build a love of reading.
Online resources
See the district's list of approved Online Instructional Resources. These are available to all students, teachers, parents, and administrators from any district or non-district computer.
