My name is Mrs. Shindle and I am the music teacher at Stephens Elementary School. This is my 22nd year of teaching elementary music and I couldn’t be more excited to spend this year with the students and families at Stephens.  I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Nebraska and my Masters in Music from Southern Methodist University.  I am married with two sons, a 7th grader at Austin and a junior at Sachse.  I am also the proud mom of a corgi, Beatrice.

In music, we will work hard to become musically literate through singing, moving, and playing instruments.  Most importantly, we will foster a LOVE of music.  In music we agree to show respect and good manners at all times.  We also agree to care for everyone and everything.  Let’s do the work together and have a great year in music!

To make sure that we make the most of our time in music, the following expectations and consequences are in place:

  • Show respect and good manners at all times.
  • Care for everyone and everything.
  • Do the work!

Consequences:

  • Three strikes equal one mark.
  • Three marks equal one behavior report.
  • Three behavior reports equal an office referral.

Clear Bag Policy
