Assistant Principal
Meghan McGuinness
Hello everyone,
My name is Meghan McGuinness, and I am honored to be joining Toler as your assistant principal. This will be my 9th year in education and my first year as an assistant principal. Prior to Toler, I was a special education teacher in New York and Texas. I served as a resource room teacher, inclusion teacher and general education teacher before becoming an Assistant Principal. My philosophy for education starts with building relationships and building emotional and mental health as well as setting high expectations that will allow all of our students to reach their full potential.
I graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in New York with a bachelor's in general and special Education as well as a Master's in Literacy Instruction. I also hold a degree in Educational Administration from Mercy College. I am married to my amazing husband, and we have two cuddly golden retrievers. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and being outside. My goal for this school year is to help create an environment at Toler where all students feel valued and loved. I look forward to working with this community this year!
