Salvador Reyes

Hello everyone,

I am Salvador Reyes, a product of Garland ISD. Before I began my teaching career in GISD, I attended TWU for my Bachelor's degree. I started my educational career at Pearson Elementary in Garland ISD. I served as an instructional aide, teacher and assistant principal at Pearson. While at Pearson, I attended Concordia University to pursue my Master's degree. I was also an assistant principal at Club Hill Elementary and Handley Elementary before transitioning to principal at Toler. I look forward to building on last year's success while working with students, parents and staff this school year.

Assistant Principal

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Toler Elementary. I earned my bachelor's from Texas Woman's University and my master's from the University of North Texas. Before becoming an assistant principal, I had the privilege of serving as an elementary classroom teacher, where I developed a deep passion for supporting student growth and collaborating with educators.

My philosophy is that every student deserves to feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. I believe strong relationships, high expectations, and a collaborative partnership among students, families, and staff are the foundation of a successful school community. I am excited to partner with the Toler community and look forward to an amazing school year together!
