Lunch

Due to the size of our cafeteria and in an abundance of caution for campus safety, we are opening our cafeteria with the following processes and procedures starting October 23rd:

• Lunch visitors will be permitted on Fridays.
• You must sign up ahead of time using the Signup Genius link.
• Each slot equals 2 visitors.
• We are only allowing eight slots per grade level each week.
• We ask that you limit your visits to once per month to allow all families to have the opportunity, should they desire.
• You must bring an ID when you check-in.
• You may not invite other students to dine with you and may not provide food or snacks to other students.
• Lunch ends promptly and should not cut into class time.
• Visitors should exit the building promptly after their student's lunch time has ended and sign out at the front desk.

Dress code

• Refer to the Garland ISD website for uniform guidelines. 
• Students may wear a Toler spirit shirt and jeans on Friday.  
• Free dress days will be communicated to all students and parents in advance.

Dismissal

• Dismissal is at 3:30 p.m. 
• Name tags MUST be presented when picking up students at ALL times.  
• Car riders will be dismissed at the front of the building.
• You must have your name tag on your dashboard or in your windows.
• Walkers will be dismissed from the gym (if they have to go across Guthrie without a parent/guardian).
• Students whose parents come to the door for parent pickup must have a name tag in the colored tubs and they will be dismissed from the right side front door.

Daycare providers

Toler does not make any recommendations concerning daycare or shuttles. Providers on this list have served Toler in the past. Providers do from time to time change service areas. A provider on this list may choose to stop serving Toler Elementary. Daycare and shuttle providers not on the list may agree to pick up at Toler if asked.
