Wear you House Color. Students may wear their house color instead of Standardized Dress Code.
At Classical Center at Vial Elementary, we always show Viking PRIDE. This stands for Proactive, Respectful, Integrity, Determined, and Excellence. Every classroom has an assigned House and Color that represents one of the 5 pillars of PRIDE.
Staff and Students are encouraged to wear their House color. This means students do not have to wear the Standardized Dress Code on this day. Check out the newsletter for your child’s grade to learn which is their House Color.
Here are a few expectations:
- Shorts & Skirts must be appropriate in length (longer than their fingertips)
- It does not have to be solid color. (Ex: if it's green, the majority of the clothing must be green).
- If any student does not want to (or cannot) participate, they must follow the standardized dress code.
- Tops/Shirts cannot show midriff (if a student raises their arms and you can see their stomach, they cannot wear it).
- No Tank Tops or Spaghetti Straps.
