Hello Viking Families!
I am the proud principal of Classical Center at Vial Elementary. I am very excited about this school year because together, parents, teachers, and staff will support our students to reach their potential.
This school year will be my 19th year in education. During this time, I have had the honor of serving as principal and assistant principal in the Garland community. This is my fifth year to serve as principal in Garland ISD. Prior to joining Garland ISD, I was an elementary classroom teacher for 7 years. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 2007 and my Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in December 2013 at The University of Texas in Arlington.
My personal mission is to support and collaborate with staff so that we can all provide a high-quality education so that all students grow academically and emotionally.

Hey Vikings! I am excited to serve as the assistant principal at the Classical Center at Vial elementary.
This year marks my 27th year in education. I spent 12 years as a classroom teacher, where I developed a love for teaching and learning, and I developed a love for the impact educators can have on students’ lives. I have now spent 15 years in educational administration, working alongside teachers, students, and families to create positive learning environments where every child can thrive.
I believe that schools are strongest when students, families, and educators work together. My goal is to build a school community where every student feels supported, challenged, and excited to learn! I am passionate about supporting teachers, celebrating student success, and creating opportunities for every child to reach their fullest potential.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, community service, and dancing!
