At a special meeting on February 14, the Garland ISD Board of Trustees approved calling for a bond election.
The 2023 STEAMposium has received a significant update. The newly imagined event will be held during the evening event of Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Curtis Culwell Center. Additionally, the abbreviated timeframe will focus solely on STEAM at the elementary level.
Students entering prekindergarten and kindergarten can make their campus selections in Skyward Family Access starting March 21.
Families with students entering prekindergarten and kindergarten can make their top three campus selections in Skyward Family Access from March 21-May 5.

Be sure you register to vote so your voice can be heard. The voter registration deadline is April 6.
Your vote is your voice. Be heard.
To vote in Texas, you must be registered at your current address at least 30 days before the election day. That means you need to register by April 6, 2023.
Once you are registered, you can vote during early voting (April 24-May 2) or on Election Day (May 6).
April 7 is a student and staff holiday. Classes will resume on April 11.
Students will have the day as a holiday off. Staff will come in for a staff development day.
