Dustin Good has served in public education for the past 14 years. He began his career as an interventionist in a K–5 school in Rochester, NY, an experience that shaped his belief in the importance of early literacy, timely intervention, and strong foundational instruction. That early experience continues to inform his commitment to ensuring that every student receives the academic support and challenge needed to succeed.

After earning a Master’s Degree in Education from Canisius University, Mr. Good relocated to Texas in 2013. He served as a founding teacher at both the CTE Early College High School at H. Grady Spruce and CityLab High School in Dallas ISD. During his time at CityLab, he moved into an instructional coaching role, supporting teacher development and contributing to improvements in student achievement, industry partnerships, and campus culture.

Most recently, Mr. Good has served as assistant principal at North Garland High School, where he leads advanced academic, college readiness, and career-focused programs, including Magnet, Early College High School, P-TECH, Health Science Technology, and AVID. His work has focused on strengthening instructional systems, expanding access to advanced academic opportunities, supporting teacher growth, and creating the conditions for effective teaching and learning.

Mr. Good believes every student deserves high expectations, meaningful support, and access to opportunities that prepare them for success beyond graduation. As a campus leader, he is passionate about building strong systems, developing people, and partnering with families and the community to support student success.

Mr. Good earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Education Leadership from Southern Methodist University in 2024. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, and their two children, Cooper and Charli.
