I was born in a little town about 35 miles east of Dallas -- Terrell! After graduating from Terrell High School, I pursued and completed a Bachelor's degree from Bishop College, a Master's degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, a Master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, a Doctor of Ministry degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU.
I started teaching in Dallas ISD, then in Longview ISD, back to Dallas ISD, and then to Garland ISD. I started as an administrator at Schrade Middle School to Watson MST to Steadham Elementary, and now at Walnut Glen Academy for Excellence. I will continue to make a positive impact in the lives of the staff, students, and the community.
I have been married to wife, Savitri, for 30 years on August 26th. We have three sons, Drew, Josh, and Caleb.
I am a proud parent of two GISD graduates and have been a counselor and member of the Walnut Glen staff for 15 years. I appreciate all of our awesome WGA students and families!
I have been @ WGA since 2006. At first, I was a Teacher’s Aide. I enjoyed six wonderful years helping students in different grade levels and after living so many adventures and learning experiences from some loving teachers; it was time for me to be part of the wonderful office Staff, where I have been Data Clerk since 2012-2013 school year. I have a loving husband, Agustin Guzman and together we have three wonderful sons, Jon, Daniel and David. My husband and I are blessed to work for the wonderful community of GISD.
I have been with WGA for 6 years. I am married and have 3 daughters. My oldest daughter lives in NY and works for an advertising agency. I still have two daughters at home who attend Sachse HS. I am a veteran of the US Navy. I was stationed in Hawaii. After my 4 year enlistment I attended nursing school and got my BSN. I worked for 12 years at Baylor Dallas. I worked 6 years in the NICU and 6 years in Emergency Department.
