Walnut Glen Academy for Excellence offers a wide variety of classes in the fields of art and music. All students will learn though a comprehensive arts and music integrated curriculum that involves higher order thinking skills.

We at Walnut Glen Academy and Garland ISD believe that a quality arts education program will enable students to develop self-esteem, self-discipline, self-motivation, and cooperation necessary for success in life. 

Walnut Glen Academy students are very fortunate to have many opportunities in the fine arts.

• Kinder through fifth-grades have music class and art class weekly. 
• Students in fourth and fifth grades have the opportunity to participate in our Strings Orchestra.

Walnut Glen Academy students also have the opportunity to audition for and participate in the Enriched Art and the  Enriched Music programs.
