Watson MST is the place to be

Check out what makes Watson MST the place to be from two of our veteran teachers.

21st-Century learning

Watson Technology Center for Math and Science is all about twenty-first-century skills: collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, digital citizenship and real world connection is what takes place on a typical day at Watson.

Some of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to twenty-first-century learning is by having our students participate in PBL's, STEAM School, Flipped Learning, Google Applications, Makerspace, Guest Speakers and Academic Field Trips.

STEAMschool

Our school is committed to providing the very best educational opportunities for our students, and that includes innovative experiences beyond our core curriculum that give students exposure to additional science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics content. STEAMschool allows students to engage with content and experiences that will stimulate creativity and connect to real world learning.

STEAMschool takes place on Fridays for approximately six weeks per session during the school day from 8:20- 9:10 a.m. Our goal is to offer three sessions each year to give students the opportunity to experience multiple courses during their time at Watson MST.
