Hi Weaver Family! It is my highest honor to lead our school. I grew up going to school in Garland and came right back after I finished college. I am thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community that gave so much to me during my younger years. I most recently served as the Assistant Principal at Weaver for the past two years. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I was also an Intervention Specialist for two years. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have four beautiful children who all attend GISD schools. We enjoy finding new restaurants, and are active in our local church. We stay busy with baseball, rock climbing, basketball and dance classes.

I love working with children to instill lifelong skills that will help them academically, socially, and emotionally. Building strong relationships with students, families, and community members is a core value to me and I am eager to serve our students and staff to continue the growth at Weaver

Howdy Weaver Family!!!  After a wild 22 year ride in education, this eagle has landed at the wonderful C.A. Weaver Elementary.  I am over the moon excited to become a member of such an extraordinary family.

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  At 18, I made a trip down Highway 6, to College Station, and instantly became an Aggie!  After graduation, the teaching bug and my love of tiny humans drew me to education.  Prior to joining Weaver, I had the pleasure of being a: K-5 teacher, Grade Level Chair, Cheer Coach, Mentor Teacher, Campus Instructional Coach, District Trainer, Assistant Principal, District Early Learning Specialist and District Lead Instructional Specialist in the Office of Racial Equity.

I have a genuine passion for the foundation elementary education provides, lifelong learning and servant leadership.  I hope to continue to grow and soar to new heights with my new community of co-workers, parents and “littles”.  When I’m not working toward my many personal and professional goals, you will find me enjoying the love of my life, my close friends, good music and good food.
