Family engagement plan

Each year, elementary schools in Garland ISD create Family Engagement Plans to target how we will connect with our parents. Attached is the Pre-K and Kindergarten Family Engagement Plan for this school year in both English and Spanish.

Parent school learning compact

Weaver is committed to keeping our parents involved with their child's education. We know that student success is built by a team, which is why we created a Parent School Learning Compact. 

Skyward family access

Skyward is a great tool to keep track of your child's progress in school. Not only does Skyward track your child's grades, it also shows their attendance, test scores, and academic history. Also, at the beginning of each school year, you can complete the signature packet online. For more information, visit the district's Skyward webpage. If you do not have an email address on file with the school, please contact the office and they can add one to your child's profile to enable Skyward access.

COVID-19: 14-Day Symptom Monitoring Log - Day 1-7

The local health department will help you determine the dates and duration of your monitoring period. Take your temperature twice a day, in the morning and in
the evening, and write it down. Mark if you have any of the symptoms.
