Mrs. Dawson is honored to serve as the 8th Grade Assistant Principal at Webb Middle School. Her passion is helping students and teachers reach their highest potential by creating a positive school culture built on high expectations, strong relationships, and a commitment to continuous growth. She believes every student can be successful when they are challenged, supported, and inspired, and she strives to ensure every classroom provides meaningful learning experiences.
Her career in education began in 2005 as an elementary classroom teacher. Since then, she has had the opportunity to serve as an elementary and high school librarian, a district instructional leader, and an assistant principal. These experiences have allowed her to work alongside incredible educators and students while developing a deep appreciation for instructional excellence, collaborative leadership, and the power of data to improve student outcomes.
As a school leader, she is passionate about supporting teachers, building strong relationships with students and families, and fostering a campus where everyone feels valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. She believes that when we work together, we create opportunities for every student to thrive.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, especially when they're camping, mountain biking, hiking, or exploring new places. She believes that learning never stops, and she is grateful to be part of a community that is dedicated to growing together.
