Pentathlon is an academic competition activity that is open to 7th and 8th graders. The Pentathlon Team competes against other students in 5 subjects-math, social studies, science, a novel and the famous super quiz question. All students who participate in the Academic Pentathlon must meet UIL requirements.
Meeting time and place: Thursdays from 4:10-5:00 p.m. in room A10.
You want to be part of a fun club and serve your school all at the same time? Then the Boys' Bear Club is the club for you! Students selected will receive a club T-shirt and meet twice per week during school hours to discuss and take action on matters that will help the school community. The goal is for the Boys' Bear Club students to learn leadership skills, solve issues that affect their daily lives, and serve as role models for their peers. Boys' Bear Club members will be leaders on campus and learn valuable lessons from respected and successful community members. Some of our core values are HONESTY, RESPECT, and PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY.

Student Council is a club that provides a voice for the students on campus. The council plans dances, community service events, and fundraisers. It is a great way for students to get involved on campus and give back to the community. We strive to create a fun and memorable school year for all the students who join.
Meeting time and place: Wednesdays during in lunch in the Library.

We are a middle school dance team that strives for a high regard for each other, the art of dance, and the respectability and value of hard work. We consider it a privilege to participate in our community in exemplifying the values of integrity, professionalism, character, leadership, and responsibility.
Cheerleaders promote school spirit and overall morale at WMS. They are an athletic group of students that stunt, cheer, and are ambassadors for the school. Anyone attending WMS may participate in tryouts which take place in March.
Meeting time and place: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:10-5:30 p.m. in the PE Gym.
Anime Club is a student created club that focuses on Japanese culture through art, amine, manga, and cosplay. Every week students are introduced to different age appropriate anime. During viewing students get to explore Japanese culture and ask question about cultural norms presented. This club gives students a chance to hang out and enjoy something they are passionate about before beginning the week.
Meeting time and place: Mondays at 8:15 a.m. in room A1
The Webb Art Club is dedicated to learning art applications that we might not typically be able to do in the classroom. In Art Club, we will learn different techniques to further knowledge in art and develop a portfolio in oil painting, pottery, paper making, textiles, mural painting, and more.
It is for all grade levels, we will be meeting on Wednesday after school.
The Creative Writing Club brings together students of all writing abilities who have an interest in creating fiction, nonfiction, scripts, and/or poetry. It provides a collaborative workspace for members to write, share ideas, and provide feedback for each other's work.
