Cub Camp 2024/25

Important Dates:

●       Cub Camp (New Student Orientation):

●       New Parent Meeting:

○     Time: 3:00-4:00 pm

○     Location: Webb Competition Gym

●       Self-Directed School Tour:

○     Date: August 8th

○     Time: 4:00-4:30 pm

These events are an excellent opportunity for new Webb parents and students to meet the leadership team, tour the school, and get acquainted with expectations.

Incoming 7th Grade Immunization Records

●       Incoming 7th-grade students will need two immunizations before the start of school.

○       Tetanus booster (Tdap) [this is given every five years] 

○       Meningococcal immunization (MCV).

●       Texas state law states that a student must have an up-to-date immunization record in order to attend class in a public school in Texas. Your student will be sent home on the first school day without the updated immunization record. 

If your student has already had these immunizations, email Nurse Fields a copy of the proof of immunization. Email: TLFields@garlandisd.net

●       First Day of School:

○     Date: August 12, 2024

○     Doors Open: 8:10 am

○     School Hours: 8:50 am - 4:10 pm

On the first day of school, students should arrive on time, in dress code, ready to independently embark on an exciting year of learning and growth. Please ensure your child brings school supplies and all required health forms or documents required to attend school on the first day.
