History

Williams Elementary has a proud history. Since 1954 our school has provided a quality education to the children of Garland. Many of the students who have attended school here in the past are now successful citizens in this community. The School's namesake, M.D. Williams, is the patriarch of the fine Williams family who served Garland in the family-owned business since 1885.

As part of the 2024-25 consolidation plan, Williams Elementary students will be relocated to 2232 Parkcrest Drive and join the students at Park Crest Elementary. Park Crest will be renamed Williams Elementary and will function as a single school with students from both locations.
